Matt Gebo - Senior Instructional Designer

It's interesting to look back over the last 20 years and take stock of the things that brought me to this place in my life. I am an instructional designer, but I have taken a roundabout way to get to where I am today. I served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and it was an amazing journey. I had the opportunity to live and work in England, Germany, and Ukraine, as well as travel to many other countries for work and pleasure. I spent two years studying Russian, which came in really handy while working with the Ukrainian military. I have led organizations devoted to the maintenance and logistics of some of our nation's most technical equipment and been in charge of a division responsible for the training and certification of over 150 of my fellow Airmen. Over the course of a year I was charged with the responsibility of ensuring the readiness of our forces by leading both the Quality Assurance and Inspector General offices. I held a lot of interesting jobs over the last twenty years, seen a lot of interesting places, and learned more than I can retell here. It was been a privilege to serve our country, service is reason I joined the Air Force to begin with, and I endeavor to provide the same level of service to my customers in the field of Learning and Development.

My goals |
I am a graduate of Walden University's Instructional Design & Technology program. I live in Waverly, Ga with my wife and children where we enjoy the outdoors and family game night. Aside from my family, I have a great love for learning, teaching, and helping people figure things out (all important qualities for an instructional designer).
